Hi mingle family

Have I told you yet today that I love you? Well I do and I hope all are doing great. I've been reading over a ton of threads recently and have jumped in on many of them, even started a few new ones. Thanks for always being so gracious with me and being willing to let me see things from a different view point.

Since this is our well wishes area would it be OK if we send WW and prayers in the direction of our family members who have had to, and continue to go through, trying times in the arena of mental health and brain diseases? You know I was staggered (truly shocked) at how many people go through problems concerning the brain. I had no idea how many people have to live through life in hiding because they are considered not normal by some weird social standard that is totally two faced in it's approach to equality. The more I gain an understanding the more I have seen a chapter of my fellow man that I never really opened my eyes to before. Folks who have brain disorders you are so normal and so loved. I for one will vow to do my best to understand better what you are going through and will daily pray for your good health. The brain is an organ, and just because you have this particular organ controlling the way you act or feel you should not be treated any different than any other of us goof balls. It took me a while but I have seen the light and will not let it dim again.

You have my prayers, my loyalty and my love.

don't be shy

Isnt it amazing how just opening your own mind to anothers condition in life, be it mental or physical, can open your heart to acceptance of our fellow humans? And bring happiness in your own life.

GREAT POST,,,although I do wonder IF you also knew that the many people we have who possess these type of disorders or,,shall we say, conditions of Health and mind...Many who suffer these,,have a very hard time understanding others words and expression, when talking or reading...Many also are VERY vulnerable to deception from the many abuser's, and user's we have in this world...
So we need to pay GREAT attentions to any new contacts they may have encountered IF their under aged and mention someone YOU don't know?,,and to the Internet,,,many will be talked to by predators looking for someone who likes them right-off and wants to be-friend them,,because their pictures might make the victim feel they are CUTE and SAFE,,,but THOSE are the ones WHO REALLY SNEAK IN,,,and cause harm....
Keep an ear open to new faces and new friends who might enter this person's life,,,,,,DON'T LET YOUR LOVED ONE BE ABUSED IN ANY WAY..
And I had my child be-friended by a sexual offender when he was about six years old,,Thank God he mentioned a new man talking to him ,,to me one day,,I asked him about the man,,and then asked my older son about him,,and called the police,,,They got him and could only warn him to not enter ANY area where my kids were close to,,or he would be arrested,,,so THAT worked,,but it was ongoing and something we all should be aware of,,,
ALSO,,,many people I know on the Net have fell subject to losing possessions and monies to Women and Men who show great pic's and talk like ministers,,just to STEAL FROM YOU,,
So PLEASE,,,be aware and watch-out for Predators as they come to you looking to GOOD TO BE TRUE,,,wink, remember that,,,God keep you all safe and well....

I recommend people who wish to help join NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). I took two of their courses and it taught me tons.

Iam4u and mg1959...Thank you for both of your posts...People can be so cruel to others with those problems.. I, myself, had a total breakdown at age 23, pregnant with my 4th child..I was lucky to get the help I needed, even then it took me about 2 yrs to feel "normal"(whatever that is) again.. I wish more people thought like you...flowerforyou
