On June 8, 1967, 34 American servicemen were killed and 174 were wounded during an Israeli attack on the USS Liberty. According to former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Thomas Moorer, “Those men were then betrayed and left to die by our own government.” The survivors are still awaiting justice.


It is with profound sadness that we remember the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, which took place 44 years ago today. We grieve for the families who lost their sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers, and the crew members who lost their shipmates. We grieve for a crew that was abandoned by its Commander in Chief in the midst of a ruthless attack, and by its government afterward.

We pledge to support their continuing claims for justice and for a government that represents American veterans over the Israel lobby. Thank you for helping us in a struggle we will not abandon.

My point is that was another disaster for the Democrats and the Kennedy\Johnson Regime.

You realize they took out Kennedy before he could really do what he wanted to. He would have changed the entire system of power in government, but they killed him before he could.

They? Lyndon B. Johnson was behind the assasination because he wanted to become President and always hated Kennedy.

There was that element too, but it cannot be discounted the things Kennedy was trying to do within government before he was killed. Namely go back to the gold standard of money, and basically get rid of the Federal Reserve as we knew it then and know it now. This of course would totally shift the balance of power away from them, and they could not let that happen, thus he was taken out.

Kennedy was not going to get rid of the Federal Reserve and throw it all into the Treasury Dept. That was the wildest conspiracy theroy about this incident. It was proven wrong and isn't even accepted in within the conspiracy theroy community.

There were probably a lot of eliments involved, since Kenedy pissed EVERYONE off. The mob, Cubans, Democrats, Republicans, Hoover, Hoffa etc. Also anyone who buys Oswald got three accurate shots off in the time he did and that it was a coincidence that a connected man like Jack Ruby killed him before he could talk, needs their head examined.

You're right about Oswald though, it would have been impossible for him to get 3 shots off like that in the time he did and be accurate.

Even it he was, it wasn't about this. It's about how Johnson hated Kennedy and the assignments given to him. He was heard at several times prior to the assasination how we wont have to deal with him very much longer.

How do you know it was just that though? Could have been more than one motive.

I'm sure there was more then one motive. As I said before EVERYONE hated Kennedy, there were a lot of people who benefited from his death.

I am not a big believe in conspiracy theroies. However, this is one incident where I do believe there was one. The questions overwelm the answers by about 15 to 1.

Why were the Secret Service scaled back in Dallas? Who had the authorization to do so.

Why was the military unit that accompanies the President pulled back(the Mr. X withnessed who talked to Jim Garrison.

The activities of Clay Shaw\Bertrand, David Ferrie, Oswald piror to and the day of the assasination.

Why did the CIA deny that Shaw and Ferrie were in fact CIA operatives until after BOTH died after Shaws trial concluded.

Ferrie's death right before he had to testify.

Oswalds assasination in front of a TON of Law Enforcement officials, in a sealed garage in front of the media by a known associate of the mafia.

Why were there CIA agents in Daley Plaza. Including several members of the "White House Plumbers".

Why was the Presidents route changed at the last minute and put him directly of the path?

How can Oswald, a man who couldn't qualify with a rifle for the majority of his military career who was the joke of his unit pull of 3 shots with the accuracy and distance. The former Marine Sniper instructor tried to re-enact this. They had the distances, angles, times and everything down, and he couldn't make those shots in the time they came out and he was the best there was at the time. If he couldn't do it how could Oswald.

Then theres the various statements and videos.

Also Kennedy's wife had her accounts sealed for years after her death.

As an aside, did you know later to be President George Bush Sr. was a member of the CIA then? Strange bedfellow no?

Also....I know you're not big on these type theories, but I might ask myself something if I were you. If they can put together something like this to take out John Kennedy (and I believe Robert Kennedy as well a few years later), just what else could they be capable of? Know what I mean?

Actually George HW Bush was not involved with the CIA until 1967.

Another question I forgot in my previous post was why was Guy Bannister, a former top FBI Agent, Private Investigator, CIA Contact and front man for Anti Castro Groups associating with Shaw, Ferrie and Why was Oswald registered at his address. THEN why does he suddenly die before he is to testify before the Warren Commission and ALL of his files gone missing within minutes of his death.

RFK. It was not conncected in my belief. I have read everything on all sides of the story on JFK and RFK. Robert was killed by a pissed off Palesitinine who was irate about RFK promising to send 50 Warplanes to Israel.
