Amphetamine Charlie wakes up....feeds his cat.....
Pops 3 capsules with his beer
....and plays the alphabet.

Apocalypse Now plays on his TV.
"Someday this war is gonna' end...."
But Charlie don't care.
Charlie don't surf.......my friend.

Fridge door won't close
So....he kicks it with his foot.
He plays a Zappa album
Tries to read a book.........

I hate Addreall, spent 8hrs drawing a picture of Big Foot as a pro wrestler when I first tried it in college. Hell of a study tool though.

I hate to admit it....but I was seriously addicted. Do that stuff for 6 years and then quit.....yr brain is just totally wrung out. I haven't touched that stuff in years. Felt completely burned out for 6 months after I quit....... I took enough on a daily basis to push an elephant through a 4 minute mile........ Stayed up 5-6 days a pop. Never ate..... Glad that's over....... Bad news.......

My friend, the person that gave it to me, was like that. He had been prescribed a long time ago and his abuse of it got worse and worse as he got older. I never liked it, but that was because I was into downers. I thought I was going to die when I came off oxycontin. Once you cross that line with drugs, it's hell getting back. Definitely glad it's over.

Its in the sense of not feeling,,where we indulge into what we think, makes us feel better.
And its in the relizations of our seeig us different to who we were, that draws us back to us..Then we think,,how senseless we were for thinking we didn't feel,,when we really felt everything , to much.....
Now theres a riddle for a phrase,,,,,

drinker Here's to convictions to remain who we sometimes feel in vain....which-------drives us more insane..

Good observation. The line about the fridge door is about what you were talking about. At the time....you know it's wrong. The door won't close. You need to take action....shut it yrself. Then.....there is the distraction factor.........
