Hmm, I've lots of stories about the ex ... one that particularly comes to mind is how she at one time complained how I was always brutally honest and would never say "everything's going to be ok" to comfort her and make her feel better about everything.
A couple years later (and one of her examples of why we were splitting ... nevermind her infidelity), she said that when I was saying "everything's going to be ok" and trying to comfort her, suddenly I was belittling her and disregarding her feelings. Huh ... try to please some people ... |
