Who are the "you people" that you're referring to? I don't idolize any politician. That's one of those if the shoe fits statements. If the media would stop chasing Palin around and ignore her she wouldn't get as much recognition as she does. Ah, ok. I asked because you replied directly to me, so I thought you were talking about me. The media doesn't have to chase Palin. She does whatever she can to make sure she's still in the media. |

You're comparing the President and Palin? 
I was referring to people being idolized. Obama has done nothing to get this country on the right track. The economy is still in the tank, foreclosures are worse, chro ic unemployment is worse than it was during the depression. Yet people still hang on to every word he says, and he is doing NOTHING to CHANGE this countries problems. IMO he is taking this presidency as just a status thing and isn't being a leader to get us ou of the hole they keep digging deeper. Not to mention were still in Iraq(5 US troops died today there), Afganistan, G-bay is still open, Patriot Act is still there and got renewed...........All of which Obama Bin Laden said would be done in his first 100 days in office. 
I doubt many progesives will support the war and many are pissed at his broken promises includeing myself. Awwwww, am I taking attention off of Palin stalking? I guess you just dont like to hear the truth. |

Palin fans tried to rewrite 'Paul Revere history' on Wikipedia
June 7 (ANI): Supporters of White House hopeful Sarah Palin have attempted to edit the Wikipedia page on patriot Paul Revere after she made glaring historical errors during her tour to Boston last week. However, the changes they made were deleted following an uproar by Wikipedia contributors and editors, The Telegraph reports. Palin has been criticized for wrongly describing Revere's historic 1775 ride at the start of the Revolutionary War. During her visit to Boston, she claimed that Revere, a silversmith and messenger for the rebel militias, had "warned the British that they weren't going to be taking away our arms". Revere is well known to schoolchildren in the US for his act of bravery during the American Revolution, as he warned his fellow colonists that the British were coming. His role in ensuing victories has become part of American folklore. She admitted "messing up on Paul Revere" but insisted she had been partly right. Unknown aides or fans of the former Alaska governor then changed the "Paul Revere's Ride" entry on Wikipedia. The revised item implied that Palin had been correct to say Revere was "warning the British" because "most colonial residents at the time considered themselves British as they were all legally British subjects".
