You know I like almost EVERYTHING about Texas. Except for fire ants...and now, MOSQUITOES! Oh lordy! It's like the plague! 
I know...they're swarming everywhere!!

Thank goodness I wasn't nekked because this morning I went azz over toes down 5 concrete steps plus the landing and the sidewalk. Pride definately goes before, during and after the fall...and then as I was laying there trying to determine if I was broken, the dang mosquitos were biting me! Take a note... Possums can't fly. |

Thank goodness I wasn't nekked because this morning I went azz over toes down 5 concrete steps plus the landing and the sidewalk. Pride definately goes before, during and after the fall...and then as I was laying there trying to determine if I was broken, the dang mosquitos were biting me! Take a note... Possums can't fly.  Are you alright???????

Huh? you going somewhere or just taking the stairs slower? You could have really been hurt... I'm over the rainbow for work through tomorrow but yeah, I have to learn to slow down and not "skitter." Oh, I know it had to hurt and there is no telling what would have came out of my mouth! I fell down on some ice one time in Cloud Croft..Slid down a street! I wasn't hurt but was SOOOOOOO embarrassed! |

I fell down on some ice one time in Cloud Croft..Slid down a street! I wasn't hurt but was SOOOOOOO embarrassed! Was that YOU????? Seriously, Cloudcroft (and remote areas nearby) was my favorite little escape for 14 years. I'd leave for Walmart and end up calling my son to say "Mommy's at the railroad trestle hiking site - be home in a few hours" cuz I'd be needing what I called an "altitude adjustment" to cure stress. I just kept my hiking boots in the trunk all the time - just in case! |
