My heatpump died!!!! It is 9 at night and it is 85 degrees in my house! They have to replace the whole unit but can't get to me until Wednesday morning! I would kill for a window unit a/c right about now. I'd been meaning to get one for emergency but never did. Checked into that too today. Lowes can send someone out to install it, but....lol...not til Wednesday. It is so hot upstairs I actually fell asleep on my downstairs den floor, which was hard as a rock! Guess it's the floor tonight. Opened the door for a bit, it's cooler outside than in here. But, no screens on my house. Been meaning to get someone to do that too!

So...if any guy wants a "honey-do" list I've got one!!! Screens, window unit a/c, oh yeah, then there's the Christmas tree still lying in the box in my kitchen floor!

Oh, and thanks to my "husband" for today and the advice. Didn't want a/c guy to give me a higher price because I'm a woman alone so thanks for stepping in!
