I do try to acknowlege most of the writings here...When I can...

There are some here that knock my socks off, and I can't help but comment on their beautiful words..Some writings do absolutely nothing for me, so it is usually better if I don't reply..You wouldn't like what I had to say...

I rarely get replies from my writing. I don't mind, I try to make a game of how many people view it. If more people viewed the newest one compared to the old one then I must be doing something right, or my tittles are getting better anyways lol. I've noticed people like the pretty uplifting kind of writing and that is definitely not my style. I write to share with those who understand. I don't need any ego stroking.

I know what you mean. There's a hard core of wonderfully lovely and supportive people on here who tend to read and comment on everything, but there's so much of it and only so many hours you can spend thinking of a reply and tapping it out. They can't be everywhere at once.

I don't get many comments myself and I always hope to reach more people, but I try not to take it personally. There's only so many times you can say to yourself "surely it didn't suck THAT much, yeah?" before you send yourself barmy.

Don't beat yourself up about it. It's all subjective, right?

Like most things on the web, popularity is directly linked to the quality of your tittles.

Almost across the board there is an average of 20 views per reply. Figured that one out a few years back. (cept for politics and religion threads...those people run thier mouths incessantly.)

Had to laugh at the politics & religion comment.....smokin laugh
