Thanks for the welcome everyone.

I got breaking news: It is beautiful here! Sun is shining, the birds are signing (oh wait, no, they haven't come back yet) and it is a balmy 54 degrees. Perfect weather if you ask me. cool enough to go outside and be active but warm enough to be comfortable just on a walk...

But, I gotta enjoy the sun while it is here. In about 6 weeks I will be saying good bye to it for a couple months. Last year we had 33 days straight with rain. Not a peep from the sun that whole time. Starting from the beginning of July until the end of September last year, I think we saw the sun maybe 15 days. With only a couple were it was mostly sunny, not mostly cloudy. That part of the summers here aren't all that hot! Literally too! laugh Last year our average temp for the summer was 56 degrees. Actually, not as bad as it sounds. You get used to it fairly quickly. Fun to see the tourist walking around in winter coats and hats when the locals are wearing T-shirts and shorts. bigsmile

I lived in Texas for a few years so, I know what triple digit living is like as well.

Two things I really miss: Sunshine and Thunderstorms.

Glad to meet you all... flowerforyou

Patrick
