The hear say thing is valid. You can not testify hear say as fact. The top general that "supposedly" said that would have to testify for it to be valid evidence. Instead of calling somebody close minded, learn the laws that apply to trials. Not to mention, a "top general" would not withhold said information. It's called integrity, something military members have, and politicians do not. END OF STORY. If it meant saving his life......yeah I think he would. If he ever went public with this, he would have been dead or at least lost his job. All is not what it appears, never was. Military members don't lose jobs for being upfront and honest, and a top general doesn't have to worry about being knocked off by the ***** politicians. Top generals get there by being good at thier job. Thier job is fighting all threats, foreign and DOMESTIC. And in this day and age, a conspiracy to attack ourselves would have come out into the clear by now, and anybody involved would be crucified. You have "This guy said that guy over there told me that these other people did this." How far removed do you have to get from the source information before you can't rely on it??? Ever do the telephone test in school. Pass a phrase down a line of people to see how much it changes at the end... Of course, that is going on the assumption that he heard it in the first place and didn't just fabricate it now. Why now anyway? Why not when everyone was crying foul right after? Because I don't. don't watch the news. When someone brings up a topic where they have "proof" of a conspiracy, I look for the source documentation that shows the proof. So far, every time someone found a website that "proved" the conspiracy, I have researched the information on the website and tracked down the information they claimed to be true and valid. Most of the time, the information on the conspiracy website is an exaggeration or leaving out key details. Sometimes it is flat out WRONG. There was one where they quoted a survey. The claims on the conspiracy site were not even close to the survey. I couldn't even find how they came up with the numbers they did from the survey. Literally nothing added up. But the guy that posted the thread still believed that very erroneous website was the truth. I would LOVE to see your "proof" the Gulf of Tonkin was a lie. |

And regardless, if one is gonna lie once, they WILL do it again. what is innocent? everyone is going to die, just a matter of when... and you talk like this is a recent thing... All through history, people have died unjustly, and it's not going to stop because we don't like it.
