Which phone is the best by popular demand? Which is better?

As far as demand goes, well when Verizon announced they would be getting the IPhone4, people went ape. I know quite a few people that had been waiting to get an IPhone and they were with Verizon (all of them hated AT&T), and as soon as they could pre-order it, they did. Still, Android phones do outsell IPhones.

I have an IPhone, and I love it. I have also messed around with Android phones, and they have there appeal too. You can get the apps with either, so I guess it just depends on what your preference is.

Laptop. Nice large screen, full size keyboard, free calls worldwide,
no service plans, no monthly charge and all for a onetime payment
of like 250 bucks. Built in hi-res camera and video. Runs all kinds
of other software and apps with ease during calls.

Who needs a phone? Seriously.

iphone is way better at syncing to your computer... my android won't even make a sync for windows 7, so i can't sync it at all... i have to pull the sd card out to upload or download...(samsung sucks)

I got the Windows Phone. Lack of market and plus I could not even make a basic call without the phone auto muting.

Android is a open community most apps are free and useful. you dont need proprietary software like zune or itunes to add music or videos and it accepts a wide range of extensions.

iPhone you can only wifi video talk. pretty much any free apps on iphone are on android.

You can also program on android with google's sdk. There is a large community on mods. you can dual boot android on an iphone or winCE phone
