resident Bush should be thanked, if it wern't for him Osama would be alive and kicking right now. Not likely. Bin Laden has been dead for years now. I guestimate 5-6 years. He had diabetes and was generally in bad health. This event was just a body-finding. It will be good fodder for war propaganda and DOD aggrandizement, though. 
I don't believe that, this is the worlds most wanted man and if he had been killed 5-6 years ago as you say the republicans would have beat that drum to death during the last election. I have been debating in this forum for years and have always argued that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Bin Laden wasn't hiding in Iraq (as far as I can remember anyway). Iraq was because they disregarded the no fly zone opposed by the UN from Desert Storm (before 9/11 BTW) and WMD....whether this was justifiable or not to go to war, is a matter of opinion IMO. Not about Bin Laden though. It was basically 2 separate wars. Bush (like him or not) started the hunt for Bin Laden that Obama wanted to stop. Luckily he didn't stop the hunt and the military (not any president) got him. It just happened to be under Obama. Now if Bin Laden has been dead this whole time (which I don't believe) that would make Obama's administration liars and that side couldn't have that. Now that is all I have to say on the matter....carry on

I am surprised that te Coward in Chief Obama gave the green light to take Osama out.......... He probably pulled a Bill Clinton and said no and the person on the other end of the phone claimed connection problems then gave the ok to take Bin Laden out...........
