I am sure I heard something about Kate and Wills deciding to use cars instead of horses and carriages...as they didn't want to appear too ostentatious...

Wouldn't it be 'greener' and less excessive to shove everyone on a giant hay ride, pulled by a couple of Charlie's Shire horses?

And they all know how to ride...and they have a million ponies...

hahahaha...cheaper to put a big hitching rail out the front of Westminster...

I heard they are using cars to save money instead of having to pay the driver and clean up after the horses.....and to make them seem more like "regular people"

Take away all the wealth and fame and lets examine again, what's their value. I always go from that point of view. I can't be fooled by spectacle and financial wealth or birth entitlements.

I have a feeling her gown won't be able to fit in a Prius.....

(my ex-sister-in-law had to be driven in a beat up Toyota because the Rolls broke down three miles away from the church)laugh

coffee latte coloured gowns?...

deep eggplant/aubergine purple?

a regal silver pewter?

No wonder my girlfriend Zoe said gourmet make your own pizza night at her house!..slaphead

I'm madly grilling eggplant, making basil pesto, grilling chicken, making hummous...and a pumpkin pesto and a sundried pesto...

for our royal wedding watching feast!

You know what I cackle about...our republican right winged anti monarchist prime minister will be there!

That should have been MY seat!...she'll wear something daft and duck waddle down to her seat...

whereas I would have swept in...all swooshy tiaraed, and upswept fake hair...

...and said something really stooopid!ohwell

Deep eggplant/aubergine purple sounds nice to me......my nephew and his wife had the mocha/coffee brown and I wasn't crazy about it....

Grandma should wear the silver-blue shade with some kind of deep lilac accent to tie into the bridesmaids...

(Yeah, I'll be watching it too)embarassed
