My Mum. My Sweet Mum.

Today is so very sad for me,
For I lost the one who gave birth to me.
Mum was there when I had a dirty bum,
Showed me how to stop sucking my thumb.

Mum was there when I hurt my knee,
Patched it up and then cuddled me.
Soothed my sad and silly cry,
Mum gave her all, to this I apply

She tucked me into bed at night,
Mum was there when I got a fright.
From the bed the blankets would fall,
Guess to the one to whom I would call.

My Mum

As I went from a kid to a lad,
The fun I remember that we had.
From the lad to a youth,
My Mum told me nothing but the truth.

We had our trials and that’s for sure,
Set me on the track, with love that’s pure.
The day you clobbered me hurt like hell,
You went to have a cry, I could tell.

My Mum

The end of my first love, Mum was there,
When I thought that no one really cared.
It was my Mum, who came to me,
When I had tears on my cheeks you see.

Although she has gone from here,
My memories will always be near.
The smile upon her face,
Soft as the finest lace.

So to you my mother dear,
My tears now are not from fear.
I remember all pleasure,
The love you gave, a real treasure.

Is My Mum

It’s not the same, no, not no more,
Your not here to chase me out the door.
My Mum, the one that, I adore,
Love you forever more.

As they laid you in your grave,
A tear I shed, not so brave.
The last words you told me,
Echo inside my head you see.

My Mum, My wonderful Mum,
This is from your only son.
I’ve lost my Mum and my friend
My love to you I will forever send.

My mum

Macca.
