It was a beautiful day out at the American River..
Had been out there for a little while (few hours)

I was doing what I usually do parked my fold out lounger in the water so the water flows just right under me (so I dont get hot)

It was beautiful out today! I loved it!
I just had no one to go to the park with.... which was lame, because I love playing frisbie (sp) |

lol no not a puppy! I was in the rapids!!! lol it was the shallow part.. but um puppies arent generally where I go.. ok so I leaned back to brush my leg It didnt feel like a living something, felt just like something brushing up against me. Perhaps a twig???

anywho, so picture this, my body was like half emerged right. lol
Ok I still felt whatever it was, I turned back to get whatever it was off my freakn leg.. and omf flowers!!! It was a water snake!! oh gawd! I jumped up so fast and screamed.. just as it tried to swim out towards the heavy rapids it head just above the water, and it doing that wierd sliding across the water.. eeeeeeeeeeeeeek! |

the rapids musta brought it down river, and it got caught up on me..
 So Im like ok im over this.. after I inspected my leg for 15 mins.. I thought it was going numb for the first 5 lol..
