Well, I've been in that situation a number of times, and I can say that it is definitely possible. Of course, all of those relationships ended after about three months, for reasons having nothing to do with having sex too soon.

But in all seriousness... I believe sexual compatability is an important aspect to a relationship. Some people choose to wait, some people just jump right in.
