It has to earn 4 out of 10 votes for deletion. If it has gone over the 10 votes of do not delete and less then 4 for deletion, then the voting is closed and you no longer see the moderate. I am just guessing at this, but it does seem that way.

Yeah I have seen 3 diffrent post get deleate for just say hi.
How would that make a new person feel? all they have done is say hi. and suddenly they nomenated for deleation or worse are deleated. I have seen 2 just delat their account and I don't blame them I would do the same. It is just sad is waht it is  |

I can see certain things being censored (i.e. spam, truly disgusting revolting stuff)...but what I've SEEN being voted on for deletion dont appear to warrant it of any kind...am I missing something?

Kid, then go into every new thread & vote "Don't Delete".

One of the problems that may arise from this system could be if you post a thread and it is put up for deletion, someone who you may have had a disagreement with could vote to have it deleted, or vice versa.
If you have several of your posts deleted, then you may be banned from posting or even have your account deactivated. I still think it better if Mike or Van use their discretion on what to delete. But that's my opinion.

Folks, before you let something scare you, understand it.
If undersood I think this is a good system, don't want something deleted, vote that way. Lets US get rid of the vulgar/stupid crap. Helps management with the site, Mike said they would be reviewing it all. Not working they will make a change. Not even a week old, give it a chance. |

i personally think it's awesome...no more throwing a fit when something disgusting comes up...if it's disgusting to all, it'll be out the door, aye?

Well like I said, truly disgusting and despicable is one thing...but in general, I have yet to see anything that really needed to be deleted...if I dont like something? I ignore it AND the poster from that time on...makes life easy for me and I can read the comments of the people I enjoy....

well they need to do something about deleting the
new people trying to get aquanted threads maybe if ya cant vote for a week then maybe ya shouldn't be able to be deleted for a week or better yet get rid of time and go to posts say 25 posts b4 able to vote or be deleted but hey what do i know |
