That's what I was reading. What about the ones they are having in Alaska too? i think some of those are volcano related, but it is part of the cascadia subduction zone... there have massive tidal waves launched from that area...one hit hawaii in the 50's or 60's that was well documanted A big one hit Alaska some years ago. I think Soufie is sitting right in the middle of it all! 
Maybe she should move to Abilene. 
I understand that..hope they don't cause a major fire here, in Texas that is.

Well, I live in California on a major fault line and I know its not "if" the big one will hit but "when". Since no one can predict exactly when it will be I try to be as ready as I can all the time. I'm more prepared than most but not as prepared as I would like to be.

I'm more prepared than most but not as prepared as I would like to be. you should be more prepared by moving to Texas, around the Houston area...

am I missing something? west texas is on fire Yes, I know...I'm from West Texas...and now live close to Abilene..the fires are terrible..people are losing their homes, wildlife and livestock are being burned...and the winds just won't stop. Plus the fact that we are running out of water, the firemen are using dirt in places to try to control the flames. We were speaking of soufie and krupa...just teasing about the fire they would cause if she moved to Abilene.

japan had another 6.2 last night... now there are 2 nuclear plants that are in trouble...
