Topic: blind puppy has seeing eye dog | |

(kgw) - Seeing-eye dogs help countless people get around. But their services aren't limited to humans. Take this pair for example: Scarlet is a playful curious 6-year-old chihuahua mix, but she has a full-time job. She acts as a seeing eye dog for her brother Rhette. Although not biological siblings, the two have an "unbreakable" bond. Scarlett has no specialized training, but it just seems to work. Scarlett and Rhette are up for adoption in New Mexico. Their owner is moving and couldn't take them. There is a catch - if you want to adopt one of them, you have to adopt both. They're a package deal. |

My friend Paul always said that they should teach monkeys to train dogs.
