"A prank call from city hall scrambled police Friday and landed the April's Fools joker in jail. Police said the caller, a secretary in the city's (Cleveland) building and housing department on the fifth floor of the building, phoned her boyfriend and said she was hiding under her desk because a gunman was on the loose and shots were being fired. The friend did the right thing and called 911. While the Swat unit was being mobilized, three marked police cars, and EMS ambulance, and two fire trucks responded to city hall expecting the worst. Police went immediately to the office identified by the caller's friend. The female, a senior clerk in the department who has been working for the city for 9 years was immediately taken into custody."
