I feel special..Thanks..

Are you implying that leftist politicians don't receive any campaign cash from corporate interests, lobbying groups or rich individuals?

I suppose they are not beholden to these groups?

They don't ever do things in their interest, its all for the poor and the workin' man..

haha

Nothing of the kind. All politicians know what side their bread is buttered on. "Leftist politicians" do not embody big money ambitions. All Rightist politicians and most of their sheeple do.

i firmly believe that ANY politician is only there for the money... lefty or righty, it does not matter... thats why our country is so messed up right now, because of this...IMO... so reading the lies the newspapers doesn't change a thing, they only print what they are told to print...

This is QUITE true, as an ex-editor I can say first hand you wouldn't believe the amount of things that are edited out.

exactly, not to mention the average adult reads on a sixth grade level and has the attention span of a lap dog.

Open strong, weave intrigue, sprinkle a in few 5 lb words, close strong and with confidence and viola'.... you have a fan/new reader of the paper. One who thinks the writer have some sort of authority or inside track on a subject. Truth is, some of the best writers I had weren't swathed in degrees from this or that college, but were free-lancers who could BS their way out of a corner.

The written and spoken word have an incredible effect on the mind of some people. Either of these when wielded by the right person is dangerous.

Take for example the "War of the worlds" broadcast by Orson Wells.......that was both the written word and a persuasive speaker. Same thing with campaign promises. Written eloquently, delivered through persuasive speaking. Take any number of the last few Presidents campaign promises.....both were complete BS yet people are sheep and willing/want to believe.
