I know now that love, runs away...
You can touch it, wrap your arms around it. Have-it, know-it, as it lets you believe. Then without warning, without a sound. It will vanish, silently, hurtfully, it will leave. Such a blessed finding to have it found. Like a curse it betrays, while it smiles to deceive. Just when you felt its glow, all around. That love was not meant to be. People keep telling me. So where is love's real truth and harmony to see. Can it just be a ghost dwelling in my heart, living to tease, always forsaking, yet never really to Be. |

Wow, that is seriously so beautiful.... and I wonder, is it better for us to feel love and lose it..again and again, or just be denied love from the get go....because the feeling is so strong and then suddenly it has vanished...?

I think I rather feel love and lose it then at least aspire to have the chance to keep it than be denied of it I would never know the wondrous feelings it can give me.

Feeling fully is always better than not living in the moment and wondering what if....

I know a father who had a son
want to tell him all reasons for the things he'd done he drove a long way just to explain kissed his boy as he lay sleepin then he turned and headed home again I know a woman, became a wife these are the very words she uses to describe her life she said a good day ain't got no rain a bad day is when i lie in bed and think of things that might have been I know a man he came from home town he wore his passion for woman like thorny crown he said delores I live in fear My love for you is overpowering Im afraid i might disappear One of my favorite songs...I know the stanzas are reversed but... You'll find it, iam4u, its there the heart ache helps to appreciate it more thanks for reminding me of the song today.... |
