Topic: *need help* Ubuntu/Second Life | |
---|---|
I just can't figure it out. No matter what I've tried I just can't accomplish it. I'm fairly new to "linux" type operating systems. I've recently switched to Ubuntu, have version 10.04 LTS right now. I've been trying to "install" Second Life game for linux. But no matter what I've tried I end up with the same thing. I don't think it's my video card giving me the problem, I've tried two different ones. An Nvidia and now a Radeon. But anyways, my error/problem is everytime I try to run it, I get a "windows creation" error. Anyone know what this possibly could be? More information can be supplied if needed. There is no real "installation" to this game, not as there was with Windows anyways. You use Archive Manager and unzip the folder. You click the Second Life icon inside the upackaged folder, and it should run. Anyways, anyone know of something I can do to fix this? And or what I'm doing wrong?

Do you have the drivers for your card installed?
