Yeah. You're right, the addiction actually comes from the high from phenolphtalein, or some brain chemical, forgot the exact name, that you produce when your body is under duress. You run three miles, you go home, sit down and moan, you feel so good, really, without any reason. Phyisical pain produces this same chemical, ph... something.

So hearthaches, headaches, pain in the lower back, running for hope, love brings you pain, then you make that ph... and bang, you're addicted.

This may sound cliche but the only person you need to love is yourself.
