My uncle rescued a mastiff/pit mix once. He was being abused for fighting, but my uncle rescued him. Due to the abuse, he was the craziest dog you'd ever meet, but if he knew you, he was also the sweetest one. He didn't like hats, hoods, black people, vets, or people in uniform, but he was afraid of rain, storms, the vaccum cleaner, and brooms.
