Hello Everyone! My topic is why do men spend time emailing you and talking to you...But NEVER ask you out or want to meet??? Isn't meeting online suppose to lead to meeting in real life...so that you can make something happen if the chemistry is there...Or am I just dense and you just never meet anyone??? So what's the point??

well some people use sites like this as a social site. Some meet socially in real life, some only socialize online. So that could be it

ok I can understand that...But shouldn't you say that your just a online social person...this way there are no misunderstandings...

they might want to meet but are shy or busy or many other things. I know it sucks but it happens unfortunately.

some men do travel to meet women, some don't. i guess it depends on the individual person. dating locally would be nice, but it seems that a lot of people complain that where they are there are many profiles that say, last seen over a month ago. it is not always the men that travel to meet up. i've read about women who take the initiative and go on a road trip. bottom line, meeting on line doesn't always lead to meeting in real life

It is sad that most people use sites to talk to people or scam them. Granted there are some of us who are honest and yet I know WHERE two people live is also a big factor.

I totally agree with you but, some women tend to do the same thing. I don't think it's a gender thing but, maybe it's a insecurity issue that lies within the person. What do you think?

There are flirts or nudges as they call them here. That can be some one who may be interested in you but don't what to say or are shy.. But I would mostly say direct messages to you are a definite sign some one is interested in you if it goes back and forth for a bit.. |
