I've already communicated with my Aunt and friends who lives there too. Jess, if you still have not heard from your brother up to now, consult the authorities there. I think they made a website that addresses that sort of concern. Though from the little I know of you, I'm sure you have already exhausted everything. I TRULY wish your brother and his wife well. I do hope they are safe. Thankyou Red-lace, yes, I have contacted the Australian Embassy in Tokyo, the department of Foreign Affairs here, Red Cross, the Surfing Fraternity, both here in OZ and Japan, Ocean Earth, Billabong...heaps of places my brother is attached to...(he's a Pro surfer, and Pro Surfing photographer)...have tried to find my sister-in-law's brother in Brazil, to see if he has heard from them... I just wait.  Although I can still feel him...so I believe he is alive...

True to form...I am HORRIBLE with birthdays....
Doesnt actually matter.... I am thankful for Jess. She reminds me so much of the women where I live..sensitive and gentle when they want to be... barbed wire and a loaded shotgun the rest of the time. I love ya Jess. You are a good and true woman who will be a hard loving woman to a good and true man. P.S. I think I will always crush on you....I love/fear the country gals. :) Happy birthday Jess....I am grateful for the last year I have got to know you...I hope for more....but, I AM a needy prick that way. |

and for all who expressed a support...my younger brother, his wife, and dog, are now out of their region, and down south somewhere....he said he's not sure of the longterm glow in the dark radiation issues....they are taking iodine tablets....and eating packaged stuff for now.
