Watching baseball in the bleachers. I wish we had at least a minor league team here so i could go to a game. I'd happily sweat my a** off while having a dog & coke watching my team play. I just can't watch it on T.v. the announcers get on my nerves.

We have a minor league team here that is okay...but what I enjoy is going to the park in the summer and watching the grandkids play! What a blast that is. Then in the fall, they all play football. great fun!

I lived in the Phoenix area back in the late 70' and the major leagues had their spring training all around the area. You could go to a game for $2.00. We had a lot of fun and it was cheap!

My son played babseball from the age of 5 untill he graduated from High School. I really miss watching the games.

I love baseball. Played for years and been to many parks. If you don't have any pro ball you could always catch a high school or little league game......

I really miss playing on my adult league. I tore my achilles last year.
My son is 9 and i have tried to take him to the Angels Stadium a couple times but her turned down my offer. I want a hot dog and a helmet sundae darn it!!!!! I have to enforce him going so he can see how fun it really is. |

Baseball... MLB playoffs are about all I can stand to watch. 9 innings (or more) of watching no more than 3 active people at any given time gets boring after about 15 minutes...

Its nice to know you suck on two levels: 1 you don't like America's original game. 2 You can't read well b/c this thread is for people who miss watching, not jerks who wanna criticize. |

My sons thoughts exactly. I tried to put him into little league but he said no way, its too long and boring. . .poor guy. Maybe after I get him to a game he will appreciate. . .He's an excellent basketball player though. |

Well, If he isn't 7 feet tall yet, maybe he could try catching.. You are involved in every pitch and you get the smack runners in the face with the ball from time to time.. |

I hated being catcher, it's too scary in girls fastpitch. He is 5'3 and 9 yrs old right now. Girls think he is in like 6th grade but he is in fourth, poor guy, and he gets embarrassed by them. It's adorable

I'd watch baseball if the damn Yankees didn't win all the time. Its never about the other teams, NO, its just Yankee season! The team closest to me is the Reds, and I don't think they've won a game in 20 years.
