Is it alright/ok, no. Is it what is accepted/done, yes. I have had this happen to me and will admit I have done the same thing. Its simply a way of letting someone know your not interested without actually saying anything. Who really wants to hear rejection? I don't. I can take a hint. If i get no response I just move on. I have actually gone the other way and told someone I was not interested and the guy proceeded to rip me a new one for being honest. That's a good indication that you were right for dropping him.

sometimes I will also explain that I'm not wanting a pen pal - which is true, and if I'm not interested in dating I will just make a polite refusal

Do you all think it's right for a woman or anyone for that matter to play with someones feelings by saying your interested in them,talk to them a couple times and for no reason,stop replying back to you. Sounds like one of my species to me. But I have had guys do that to me as well. It is so f**king frustraiting and rude. That's why I have a tendency to reply once and say,'sorry, you've lost this round', and I wish them luck. |
