Jeannie bean- are you currently enrolled in a quantums class, because your speeches look Copy and pasted, and you continue to revert back to the color spectrum in every thread....is this knowledge you actually know and verify or is this something you bring home each week from class.

Absolutely not. I don't copy and paste any of my posts. If I do quote something I will put it in a quote box. It all comes directly out of my mind and what I think and feel is true.

I have done a lot of contemplating of infinity, nothing, etc. and have come to the barest conclusion that nothing cannot exist simply because it is no thing, which means non existence.

The only thing I am certain of is that I exist.
Existence is good.
Good = God

I may tend to use the color spectrum because I am an artist. Color is actually light. There are only three true colors in the world of the artist, and they are the primary colors, red yellow and blue. Every other color can be approximated by mixing pigments.

There are other color frequencies that we can't see, but for the purpose of the artist and mixing color, there are only three.

Nothing is absolute, anything can be changed.

So true.

Nothing (no-thing) is absolute.

Anything (something) can be changed.

It's far more appropriate to start with God as the absolute moral good and define anything else or anything that contradicts Him as evil, but I tried to work towards the conclusion that God is the absolute standard of good, rather than start with the presupposition that He is.

Cain,

It is not more appropriate to start with a term such as "God" unless you are speaking to a person or persons who know what you mean by that term and/or how exactly you define "God."

In the absence of a proper and agreed upon definition of "God" you have to name one.

I define "God" to equal "Good, Something, Existence, Life, that which is."

You have not defined "God" except to imply a gender by calling it "He."

So if you want to define God as the absolute standard of "Good" then we can agree that "God" equals "Good." Which means that "Good" equals "God."

Good = God
Life is good... so
Life = God.
To exist is good ... so
Existence = God.

Poem about Existence
by Jeanniebean (Gloria Jean)

You are the ONE

The truth is Darkness, there is no light;
But don’t despair in dark of night.
You are the ONE to make it right;
Bring forth creation; embrace the sight.

The Love is ONE and Light is Life.
You are the ONE in peace or strife.
Bring forth the light, let your heart shine.
For all is love, and love divine.

Bring forth the light; it comes from thee.
The truth of darkness cannot be.
You are the ONE, there is no night.
You are the ONE, bring forth the Light.

To dream is life, and not -- to die;
Bring forth the light and live the lie!
For Light is Life, and Love, the breath,
Tis at this door choose life or death..

I was watching The Terminator, Final Conflict last night and I had the thought that a machine like the terminator that is following its own programing of self survival with no feelings of hate, love, compassion etc. would be my idea of "Absolute Evil."

Evil then, would not be something you should respond to with "hate." It would be as silly as responding to your computer with emotions like love or hate. Your emotions would not be understood by a machine or computer. It would be a waste of energy.

In applying this to a sentient being, or a human person, you would then measure evil by their lack of compassion or by their lack of emotions or emotional balance.

Therefore I suspect that the ultimate evil would be a mechanism that is operating logically and only for its own self survival. Even if it is a 'learning program' (as the terminator was) it does not have the capacity to learn to love or have a regard for others except in how they might be of service to them.

The ultimate evil thing, therefore, would have no love, no compassion, no passion at all. It would feel no joy, no anger etc. You can not appeal to ultimate evil by asking for mercy or by appealing to its sense of right or wrong. You have to use pure logic and appeal to its sense of needing to accomplish its primary objective, whatever that is.

If it is to kill you, you are probably out of bargaining chips. What you have to do is forget emotions, and use your logic. You would have to have the primary objective of either fight or flight.

is it evil when a lion eats a donkey? they are following a program, which is neither good or evil...either you win or lose, just like any other fight to survive. to me, evil does not exist, it is just a perception of what people think is good or bad. a lot of people thought hitler was evil, but a lot of people also believed in him at the same time...

If you read the entire thread your question will be answered. I also agree with you that actual "evil" does not exist.

There is destruction in this world therefore this world is not completely perfect or "good."

In a perfect world, a lion would not have to eat a donkey. There would be no entropy or destruction. Things would either exist or just blink out of existence. Sort of what people might imagine Heaven to be like where the lion lays down with the lamb.

The act of destruction or the taking a life can be considered the lack of a perfect world or you can call it "evil" if you wish, which is what some people do.

The lion that kills to stay alive is not "evil" nor is his act an "evil" act. But the state of affairs of an imperfect world where energy has to be taken from other living sentient beings in order to live and exist, is the effect of what we have named "evil."

Probably.

I believe all that exists is God.

I define "God" as existence. (Everything that exists)

I exist...

so it follows......

Nobody has All of the answers. Information is widely dispersed.

But I can assure you, somebody has the answer to that question.

Some people use imaginary lists to program themselves in a way that can be self-destructive or further their goal of world domination.

Any imaginary wall can be breached by direct attack or a well staged siege. Either way you will eventually become the spoils of WAR..

wrong,because you wouldnt know how far out it goes...and would end up slamming into it. . .and breaking bones...

A catapult or trebuchet work effectively in defeating imaginary walls that extend beyond some imaginary boundary.

All part of a properly staged siege..

The spoils of war... Its all that you are..

Is that the white flag of surrender?

No quarter will be given so you better keep up your imaginary fight.
