Yea, Europe as a whole kicks out alot of good fkn metal scopions, malmsteen but Ima old school Of course, gotta have old school metal! I like everything - I listen to metal now & then & particular bands that I really like - pretty mainstream as far as metal but I do love hair but not as HC as u guys on here Yea, there (us in this thread) some of us that are pretty hardcore metalheads. I never used to be. Used to be all classic rock, which I still listen to, but when I was 12 I heard Master of Puppets by Metallica and that changed my life. Been metal ever since, be it old metal or the new brutal stuff. metallica is awesome Older Metallica? YES! Their new **** sucks tho. Master of Puppets, Kill 'em all, Ride the Lightning... that was badazz. Anything after the Black Album sucks tho. yup |

I was really getting into the band Venom the other night. Those guys practically invented black metal.
A friend and fellow metal head from Florida called me up the other night and told me to check out a band called Impiety. To me they sound like "noise metal", if there is such a thing. It's kinda like they're so bad, they're good. I really like their song, "Bestial Genocidal Goat Vomit." I really dig a Polish black metal band called SEMARGL. Any SEMARGL fans here? |

James Heitfeild is the reason I picked up a guitar. James Hetfield IS good. But not as good as Kirk. ;) Dave Mustaine > Kirk Hammett. End of story.
