Do yourself a huge favor, look up the TV show ROME. Then find the parallels to America. I found the show to be really close to historical truth. Not perfect but REAL CLOSE! If you can't see the parallels between the issue of Slavery in the reign of Julius Caesar and illegal immigration here and now you are definitely BLINDED BY DEMOCRACY!

I watched ROME. It was one of my favorite HBO series. First place is a three-way tie between Sopranos, The Wire and Deadwood. I saw parallels in all of these with issues of current interest. However, it was really the unforgettable characters in these that really grabbed me. I love a good story!

The frightening thing is that slavery and illegal immigration seem to parallel each other in a lot of ways. Both are exploitable labor. We really don't need unions in as much as removing the Exploitable labor from this country. In Rome Julius Caesars move to force all industry to employ at least 1/3 non slave labor was a huge move back then. it would be the same thing as banning illegal immigration to get our own back to work! A lot of what Julius Caesar did was in effect the same thing as Theodore Roosevelt did in the early 1900s. Obama has no balls to put measures in place that do for America's needy instead of shouting to tax the rich all the while turning a blind eye to illegal immigration which is causing us more problems than just lost jobs for citizens! We are repeating history even after two thousand years AFTER the fall of Rome!

The Repubs are really working on getting folks back to work, I know that for sure.

They are so bad for this country.

Yep, and just as bad as the dems. Hopefully we'll be rid of all of them one day.
