I have known both Men and Women that are possesive over their possessions and over their mates! I don't fit that mold cause I don't get possesive over either!

It's the teen in my life...soon to be a woman I might add...DANG that girl is stingy...I have no idea where she gets it from either...I buy it BUT it's hers and I can never use it!!!!!

I think alot of teens now a days are very possessive over their material things. It seems the more they have the more they want. Everyone has to keep up with the Joneses. I think kids acquire more possessions than we did at their ages. But most don't appreciate what they have anyways.
As a child from a poor family we learned that material things meant very little, it was more about keeping our family together and learning to truly survive with what we had. We earned everything back then, it wassn't handed to us. Life has changed so much!

I agree...Sanna...I'm just as guilty for letting her get that way and not refusing to buy her stuff if she won't share it!!!!!!!

We always had things growing up...BUT it was only my parents way of substituting the fact that they were never really involved in our lives much as kids...nor did they spend much time with us...I know how important those things are maybe that's why I am the opposite and things have never meant anything to me!!!!!!!!!

Well I made her share always as a kid...So I have no idea why she thinks it's ok not to share the things I buy her with me...Maybe it's PMS!!!!!!!

I'm not sure. I like my stuff, there are some things I have a hard time parting with. But I didn't get anything from anybody else unless I bought it.

I don't get "THINGS" anymore, cause I spend all my money on my Daughter, I don't need anything, I have everything I want, Life, and my girl oh, wait, i do get 1 coffee in the morning!
