Do you remember if you got pregnate being a teenager in 50's and 60's ( even before that time) it was a moral sin. A teenage pregnant girl was an outcast especially in small town high schools. I'm not critisitsinng teenage preganancy, so please do not get me wrong. It is common these days and nobody will even give it a second thought.

Pregnant schoolgirls isn't a new state of affairs,if you want to go back far enough, pre-teenage pregnancy wasn't unheard of. Nowadays, everything is out in the open & early, possibly unplanned, pregnancies are just another statistic. Sad even so.....

Seems to me, some young girls look at it as a badge of honor.
Want a baby way to soon & then expect the parents to care for them. So many grandparents are raising grandkids, just don't understand.

Life is hard enough.... I never could figure out why they would want to start out with a baby at that age.. Babies having babies..

I was one of those teenage girls who found herself pregnant in the 60's.
Yes, times were different then, but I never considered myself an outcast, nor did my family or friends.
My father, true to the times, made the man marry me to protect the family name. That was the worse mistake ever. Didn't last a year, then I was a divorced teenage mother, with an ex-husband who never paid child support.
After all the mistakes, I still wouldn't change a thing.
