Does anyone know of a way to get rid of the Google redirect virus? Numerous anti-malware programs make the claim that they will eliminate this bug, but they don't.

? Goggle redirect virus?

Have you tried kaspersky, AVG, ClamAV, Spybot S&D, Adaware?

If those don't work, you can try http://totage.co.cc/search.php?i=category&o=category&r=5&s=Antivirus

Thank you very much!

Not only did it fix the redirect problem, but it resolved the sound problem I posted about earlier!

Thanks again! Much appreciated!

Which did you use from totages link? I have malwarebytes, Ccleaner, & Avast. My pc is still having problems with spyware. Help, I don't know what cleaner I need. Too many choices!laugh

Ended up with a combination of Kaspersky and Hitman 3.5. Avast, which I've been using and have liked so far, didn't seem to be able to do anything with this one.

Thx, Lex. I've also been getting the redirect & PC is running slow most of the time. Haven't been having any problems today but I'm using a laptop where I connect to different wireless servers. So, it may be in the servers end.
