I do have Skype, but I was unable to get many of my friends to sign up. They wouldn't really tell me why. I think it may be because they don't like the idea of people seeing them in their underwear with bedhead and toothpaste smears around their mouths. I eventually reverted back to preferring email for most purposes.

BUT, there are certain cases where Skype is is ideal. A friend of mine and I were both learning to use a new piece of software that was very complicated. He was learning much better than me. We scheduled a Skype session where he was able to talk me through some things while we were actually using the software.

One drawback, at least with my 'puter, is that Skype is a huge program. It uses tons of memory and really taxes the CPU, slowing things down quite a bit. The best way to have a Skype session is to schedule it in advance and shut it down when not in use.

U can even record video and voice
U can add lots of friend to talk
