Topic: What to do with the rest of the day

My workday is finished and I can't go anywhere because of the weather. I think I'm going to spend some time in the backyard throwing snowballs at my dog (she loves it). The question is: what other ideas do people have for a day like today? Cheers.

I've been cleaning out 2 boxes of receipts, bank statements, etc and organizing what I keep and shredding the rest...also cleaning drawers.. Somehow that stuff never gets done..lol

Renos, housework, organization, getting rid of clutter, rehearsing with one of my 10 musical instruments, study my French course, sew a few costumes. So much to do; so little time.

Renos, housework, organization, getting rid of clutter, rehearsing with one of my 10 musical instruments, study my French course, sew a few costumes. So much to do; so little time.

Play on Mingle off and on...Make soup, make order out of one closet or drawer, call an old friend or a new one...Read a great book, watch an old classic movie, take up a new hobby (buy the supplies the next decent day so you'll have them for the next 'stay at home day'. Turn up your favorite music and dance! Bet your dog will love that too!

LOL! Another dog who likes to play fetch with snowballs huh? Mine were having a blast yesterday and today tearing around the place while I chunked snowballs at them. Even got the horses to play. Today was slow till the outdoor faucets thawed, then I got all the critters re-watered. Dragging 5 gallon buckets back and forth sucks. Got a book finished, a few odds and ends, and now I'm going to hop in the shower and after that sit don with my horn and dabble.

paint make books with the kids have them help start stew or gumbo and bake muffins
