I don't know that they are my top 3 since I haven't ranked.....too many I've found very good.
Lord of the Rings Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series Song of Fire and Ice (George R.R. Martin's current series) Others... Empire of the East many of Wilbur Smith's books ditto for Terry Pratchett Segu The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons (take as fiction and Dan Brown is one of the most concise writers I've come across) Focault's Pendulum (can be difficult to read, but a fascinating story) Shakespeare (I've read every play he ever wrote) Killer Angels (Michael Shaara's novel about Gettysburg) The Prydain Chronicles (Lloyd Alexander....sure it's for kids, but I still love to re-read them for nostalgia) ...and Lord knows how many others |
