In that case you should be very open to my views. It may very well be possible that I actually hold the real truth Cowboy. If you would just open your mind and heart and listen, you might actually learn something.

And I've done just that. I've shown why the Hebrew fables cannot be the word of God. I've shown why Jesus could not possibly have been the only begotten son of the God of the Old Testament. And I've offered a perfectly reasonable and sane explanation of precisely how these rumors got started and they evolved to become what they are today.

I am totally convinced of all of this. flowerforyou

You have done none of that. The contradictions you try to show are shown not to be and you run away with an "well that's your interpretation, or you can paint these rumors any way you want". But you are still yet to show any contradiction that holds any water when taken into context.

I do have my mind and heart open, and I am listening. But nothing you have said holds any water. You have not pointed out something that could not be corrected and shown differently in the scriptures itself.

You responses to the things that I've shown have only revealed that you do not even understand the problems, much less the solutions.

I have indeed shown that the Hebrew's accusations directed toward the Canaanites and Egyptians were false accusations. Thus there can be no doubt that the Hebrew folklore (the Bible) is nothing more than the lies of men.

I caught the Hebrews red-handed making false accusations about the Canaanites and Egyptians.

Both of those cultures had religion and were indeed trying their very best to worship God. So to claim that they had refused to worship God is clearly a lie. The Hebrews are caught dead-to-rights in their lies.

You haven't vindicated them. They made false accusations toward their neighbors. They accused their neighbors of rejecting God when clearly those other cultures were themselves religious cultures.

So the the Hebrew stories are lies.

That holds more than just water. That holds the entire oceans of the Earth. bigsmile

The Hebrews were nothing more than liars bearing false witness against their neighbors. So we can safely dismiss the entire Old Testament as nothing more than the lies of men.

Absolutely not. That is where my example of worshiping the box as God came in. Just because I worshiped that box as God does NOT make that box God. Jest because the Canaanites and Egyptians worshiped their false God's and idols does NOT make them real, again just as me worshiping the box didn't make it a real God.

You're not fully understanding the problem here Cowboy.

Of course worshiping a "box" doesn't make a box God.

But that's not the point.

The point is that if you are worshiping a box "AS GOD", then clearly you must believe that the box "IS GOD". And that means that you are clearly exhibiting a sincere and honest desire to worship God.

Therefore, it cannot be said that you have willingly and knowing-fully via your FREE WILL CHOICE have chosen to reject God and defiantly disobey him.

In other words, the whole FREE WILL CHOICE breaks down in that scenario and it cannot be said that these people have knowingly and willfully rejected God.

You can't have that cake and eat it too.

Either these people make a FREE WILL CHOICE to knowing-fully reject God and refuse to obey him, or they didn't.

And my point is quite simple. If these cultures were still "Worshiping boxes as God' (to use your very lame analogy), then obviously they had made a clear FREE WILL CHOICE to worship God and were simply confused about how to properly go about it.

That's where it would become the God's full responsibility to make sure that these people knew what they were doing so that they could indeed make a genuine FREE WILL CHOICE of whether or not they wish to worship the real God.

This responsibility would fall squarely on the God's shoulders because he's the only one who has the capability of recognize and correcting the miscommunication.

He would need to come in and kick the box aside and say, "No, I'm not a box. If you wish to worship God you must worship me, or fully realize and understand that you are indeed refusing to worship your creator."

That would be God's responsibility to do that, because clearly the people who are worshiping the box as God are under the sincere belief that they are trying to the the RIGHT THING. You can't condemn these people as purposeful and knowing "Sinners" who have chosen via FREE WILL CHOICE to sin. Clearly they would have simply been confused about how to worship God properly.

This is where the biblical religion fails horrible. It simply makes no sense to condemn "non-believers" as being "sinners" who have knowing-fully and willfully chosen sin over God. And this is especially true if they are indeed devout in a religion that they have come to believe is indeed representative of God.

So it's your excuse for this religion that doesn't hold water.

The only way that the Canaanites and Egyptians could have knowingly and willing refused to have worshiped and obeyed God was to do precisely that. REFUSE TO WORSHIP GOD!

But clearly they weren't doing that. They were indeed trying to worship God in the way that they were taught to believe was right. So to claim that they were refusing to worship God is a false claim.

And thus the Hebrew Bible is a lie.

Exactly, this would then fall under worshiping false Gods. One wouldn't be worshiping the one and only true God. They would be worshiping something that had no more merit then Alice in Wonderland.

Just because someone was taught something and or believes something, that doesn't make it true. You're driving down the road and someone tells you to get to your destination you have to take a right at the upcoming intersection. Just because he said it and he sincerely believes that is the way, does NOT make it true.

Absolutely!

I'm not even remotely attempting to argue with that FACT!

That is totally irrelevant to what we are talking about.

What we are talking about is whether someone has willfully and knowingly made a FREE WILL CHOICE to refuse to acknowledge, worship, and obey God.

Well, if people are confused about how to go about worshiping God and they are attempting to worship God via false beliefs that they obviously cannot know are false, then clearly these people are making a very sincere attempt to worship and obey God.

Like I said before you can't have your cake and eat it too on this one.

Either these people knowingly and willfully chose to refuse to worship and obey God or they did not. Well, clearly if they have religion and they are carrying out ceremonies to pay homage to the Gods then they have not made a FREE WILL CHOICE to refuse to worship and obey God. They are clearly making every effort to do precisely that.

Thus the ancient Hebrews are caught red-handed in their lies!

Clearly these Hebrews were just a hateful culture that used their own religion and make-believe false God as an excuse to spread hatred toward other cultures, even to the point of convincing their people and armies to destroy the other culture with no mercy!

This is why Christianity and the other Abrahamic religions exhibit so much hatefulness toward non-believers, as well as toward each other. Their whole religion is built upon the hatefulness of the ancient Hebrew culture. Using God as an excuse to hate anyone who doesn't cower down to their make-believe false religion.

And all the people of the world who are not associated with these Abrahamic religions have to put up with the extreme religious bigotry and hatefulness that spews from these religions in the name of God, or worse yet in the name of Jesus.

It's just endless hate being propagated and proselytized in the name of God and Jesus.

And it all started with those Hebrews who condemned everyone who doesn't worship their RELIGION as the voice of God to be rejecting God.

But their accusations fail. Those other cultures were clearly making an effort to worship God.

So who's worshiping the "empty box"?

You claim the Hebrews were the only one's who had an actual deity in their box. But that's hogwash. The Hebrews were just making up their God too! I'm sure the other cultures didn't recognize the Hebrews "God" anymore than the Hebrews recognize their Gods, just like the Christians, Jews, and Muslims accuse each other of worshiping false Gods today!

It's never-ending religious bigotry and hatred in the name of God.

It has to stop.

This kind of religious hatred toward all those who don't believe in a particular religion needs to stop.

Religions that preach this sort of thing should seriously be outlawed as hate crimes. Any religion that is based on a "Jealous God Concept" should be proclaimed to be a demonic based religion.

No truly righteous God would ever have the negative trait of jealousy to begin with. whoa

We need to start a movement for humanity to make a commitment to rid the world of religions based on jealous Gods. Not through war, but through education and reason. flowerforyou

People need to be educated to see through these ancient cultures that used religion as a means to support their hatred and intolerance of other cultures.

And that's all the biblical religion amounts too. Bigotry in the name of God.

Of course they can. If one is told of Jesus and turns away, right there they have made a choice to turn away from heaven, eternal life, and our father since Jesus is the path to our father. If one has been told their beliefs are false and Jesus is the way, and they still turn away from Jesus, they have made a choice, a decision again to turn away from Heaven, Jesus, and our father. What you're coming up with isn't a reason, it is merely an excuse.

Either these people knowingly and willfully chose to refuse to worship and obey God or they did not. Well, clearly if they have religion and they are carrying out ceremonies to pay homage to the Gods then they have not made a FREE WILL CHOICE to refuse to worship and obey God. No they have not. They have merely settled for the easiest, simplest, and fastest explanation for life. They have not truly searched and full heartedly sought after God.

Clearly these Hebrews were just a hateful culture that used their own religion and make-believe false God as an excuse to spread hatred toward other cultures, even to the point of convincing their people and armies to destroy the other culture with no mercy!

No hatred being spread anywhere.

We hate no one, we judge no one. Just because you don't accept Jesus as Lord and Savior that does not make me better then you, more important, or anything of such. I would treat you with the same amount of love as I would treat a preacher, a pastor, a brother in Christ, or anyone else for that matter. The ONLY one showing any form of hatred would be you coming in here just absolutely denying our father and saying the most hateful things about him. They may be your opinion yes, but nevertheless you tell them.

And all the people of the world who are not associated with these Abrahamic religions have to put up with the extreme religious bigotry and hatefulness that spews from these religions in the name of God, or worse yet in the name of Jesus.

Just because you repeat the same things worded differently doesn't make them anymore true. There is absolutely no hatred being spread. I know not if you will go to heaven, I know not if I will go to heaven. I know not if anyone will go to heaven, it is not my place to make the judgment for I judge no man. So again no hatred, no segregation, no superiority, nothing. Just love for a fellow human being.

This kind of religious hatred toward all those who don't believe in a particular religion needs to stop

And AGAIN, there is no hatred being spread. AGAIN, I know not if you will go to heaven or not, I know not If I will, nor anyone else in the world. I'm no better then you nor you, I. It is all you that is spreading any kind of hatred or any form of negative emotion.

No they have not. They have merely settled for the easiest, simplest, and fastest explanation for life. They have not truly searched and full heartedly sought after God.

Where do you come up with this judgment of other people?

Simplest, easiest and fastest explanation for life? Duh? That would be to simply place BLIND FAITH in religion and refuse to even look at it objectively with an open mind.

I've proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the ancient Hebrews made up lies about the Canaanites and Egyptians. So I've truly SEARCHED through this stuff. You can't say that I haven't.

It's also crystal clear that the Canaanites weren't taking the easiest and simplest explanation for life. On the contrary they were supposedly sacrificing their own children to the Gods! That, my friend, must have been a horrible difficult an agnonizing thing for them to do. No simple path there!

And here you are accusing them of taking the "easiest" explanation for life? whoa

The Egyptians also had an extremely complex vision of the the Gods. And they had their religious rules and regulations that they had to obey and conform to as well. Potentially to a much greater degree that what the biblical God supposedly demands from people.

So where do you get off suggesting that these cultures chose the "easiest" path? huh

You fall for the idea that every single Canaanite and every single Egyptian was consciously and willfully choosing to reject their creator in favor of worshiping false gods and false traditions just to take the "easy way out"?

That makes absolutely no sense at all, because the religions of those cultures clearly was not "easy".

So your responses to all of my concerns don't even remotely come close to addressing the real issues.

All you do is try to avoid them, wave them off, or offer truly lame strawman analogies to try to brush them off as being meaningless.

But the truth is, I've shown that the Biblical Hebrew Fables are necessarily flawed, false, and are riddled with extreme and unresolvable contradictions on practically ever page of the cannon.

A lot of deep though and sincere heartfelt concern when into all of this.

After all, aren't you interested in TRUTH?
