I wasn't just talking about job outsourcing but actual jobs disappearing due to technology. I like how one persons response was either make jobs for them or pay them with social programs. Nothing about personal resposiblity at all. Nor did they mention paying for their education. Wouldn't it be cheaper for the government to pay you to get your 2 year degree then to always pay welfare? Such programs do exist... Yet if someone gets welfare they do not have to pass a drug test... To get in a training program you do... Work place training requires drug tests. Work and education training is not required to get welfare. |

Wouldn't it be cheaper for the government to pay you to get your 2 year degree then to always pay welfare? sending manufacturing jobs overseas so we don't have to pay a higher price for American made goods has nothing to do with personal responsibility. your argument was the manufacturing sector is dead, get over it. you can educate all the employees that filled jobs sent overseas and that does not guarantee there will be jobs awaiting them upon graduation. either way you have to create jobs for these people to fill. service industry jobs don't create a sound economic situation. producing goods that people want to buy does. |
