Most people including the FBI have a enough common sense to make the connection between a bomb at a MLK parade and white supremacists groups who have a long history in the Spokane area of just such activity.

Are you unable to make the same common sense connection or are you defending white supremacist groups by saying they are not Domestic Terrorists?

At least clarify this for me before you demonstrate your mastery of the emoticon.

Until someone is caught or someone takes credit there is still not enough information to assume anything and there is a lot of assumption going on right about now.

Draw string arming switch. It is easy to improvise one. The Anarchist Cookbook is a JOKE. Trying anything in it will succeed in getting you hurt or killed. Military training manuals are available on ebay including scary ones (Gotta love the FOIA). Those also are not the only sources of information I have and I don't mean the internet or TV. On top of that I was an Avid war gamer before Paintball. Hardhats and wrist rockets with superballs. They hurt like hell but won't break bones. Setting booby traps was part of the game like tripping paint cans with water in them to simulate getting caught by mines and booby traps. Water balloons were also handy hand grenades and we had bandoleers to keep them from popping until we threw them. Annoyance factor also qualified. Now keep this in mind, it is not hard to rig a bomb that would drive the bomb squad crazy trying to figure out how to deal with it before it goes kaboom.

There is a HUGE difference between being a steward of knowledge and putting it to use. Now if we were invaded by say China, they would learn fast to not drive tanks over man holes. You put enough explosives under a manhole cover and it will gut a tank when it goes off. On top of that if the mine is made to be a real crowd pleaser it has sub munitions packed in it so when the tank goes kaboom it scatters secondary explosions to main or kill the infantry support. I don't need a uniform to do my part to defend my home from foreign aggressors.

Now here is one taken right from the pages of Full Metal Jacket. Remember the scene where the GI picks up the teddy bear and a mine goes off? Sometimes you want the device to be found or at least its trigger. Now for some brass tacks, if I were to be crazy, evil, and stupid enough to do a parade I would set the devices (PLURAL!) in storm drains pointing across the street on the parade rout. That could be done at 0:anytime AM after 2:30 and 4:30 and chances no one would know anything at all was going on. It would be an act of GOD if anyone would find the devices and I am stunned the police do not conduce bomb sweeps for stuff like this. Now one bomb? PFASH! imagine about 20 Claymore like devices sweeping across streets on a parade rout? That sends shivers down my spine in a bad way knowing if I thought about it some sick fuque out there likewise has and has plans on pulling something like this off! The question is will the police and people in general be vigilant enough to nip something like this in the bud?

Like I said this was an amateur device. It is hard to out think crazy people becasue they are always thinking crazy thoughts. But to assume crazy people are stupid is foolish! MOST serial killers are or were VERY intelligent people! Deranged but intelligent! Now like I said there are too many variables on this one to be able to point a finger conclusively at anyone.
