Topic: Fun places in Houston?

I'm still kind of new to this area and looking for people who know where all of the fun places are. I like bars, fishing, camping, road trips. Anything would be nice to learn about, thanks.

Oh cool, I never go out there.Theres lots of cool places in Houston.. I live in the galleria area...

Ya I have yet to travel to downtown, but I am looking to do so soon. I hear there is alot to do. I am just very bad with directions. lol

Well, In katy where I live there is midnight rodeo, a slick willies, Moes on mason RD. and I beleive a new sports bar opening up down the street from me. Also there is numbers, but unless you are used to semi goth/trance clubs, i wouldent suggest going there. I havent been in about two years.

Thank you for the information. I was in Katy this past weekend for about thirty min., maybe I will try and go back to try some of those places.

Try downtown, its not so far away and there are lots of cool places. I like Jazz so I go to Sambucas club, but there are lots of places for the younger, more progressive music crowd too. If you go to the area at night you can just follow the crowds and try one place after another.

Get the CHRONICLE. Read PREVIEW section on Thursday and ZEST on Sunday. All of the happenings all over the area are featured in these two magazines.
