Topic: For the Tea Party, the hard part begins | |
---|---|
"The Republican Party has been stalling government, job creation, and the nations economic recovery for two years. Purposely by voting no on every issue, and right when the country needs them to work together with the Dems and the President." Your opinion... Mine... The Republicans finally listened to the people. They voted as they felt those people wanted... (most ligimate polls backed up those votes). Bet Democrats got the message also. 2012 will be interesting as the Tea Parties will more than likely hand out wins for Republican and Democratic politicians that pass muster. Legislation passed in the last two years has been one sided, in some cases outright stealing (without even an attempt to cover the theft) and in most cases the most repugnant use of power I have seen in years. Come now! The Repub Party does not stand for the people. Take the HC bill for example. 68% of the people are dissatisfied with it. Dissatisfied because it didn't go far enough. Dissatisfied because it did not include a Public Option. Only 1 in 4, 25% want it to be repealed, and yet here they go tying up more important issues like job creation and the economic recovery to bring forth an effort they know has no chance of success in repealing it. What they care about is continued tax-cuts for their rich friends, corporate interests, and regaining power. They care not for suffering Americans, a bankrupt HC system, job creation, or an economic recovery. |

Give me a link to the proof... i will read it (right after I check that links funding source and lean). Try to make it an actual unbiased link if you please. I can do math. I can listen. People do want that monstrosity repealed. Democrats ARE lieing about its costs (I do have a calculator). Republicans ARE lieing about its some aspects of its effects, however they are telling the truth about what it will do to the Health Care of over 80% of those that are currently covered. I do not post links on here because I think for myself. |

No links equals personal opinion?
Cool. I do know that without all the lies told by the Republicans the support for Congresscare is a lot more positive. |

Arbeit Macht Frei? scary when the opposite of the truth is perceieved to be the truth because of the propaganda machine That's the same thing I say when Extremist Progressive Libs quote their favorite Messiah. Whatever they say, the opposite is true. Example. H has deported more Illegals in history. When he got elected all workplace raids stopped for over a year and a half and he wants Az sued for doing his job. You'd think the wanker would appreciate the help. ![]() We forget too often that our country is governed by the law...not by yet another "neato cool" idea that someone comes up with As far as Arizonz, I agree that they had some good ideas but they need to utilize legal processes to implement, and protect the interests of due process & civil liberties. And yes, we must bew careful in Washington to avoid both the perception and the actuality of "the long arm of power" being unduly extended |

No links equals personal opinion? Cool. I do know that without all the lies told by the Republicans the support for Congresscare is a lot more positive. Wait... Till the truth actually becomes quite evident to the rest of the US... Then both republican and democrat politicians will be on the unemployement rolls. They have both lied. and Health Care (as the bill is written at this moment) is the WORST piece of political theivery congress has ever foisted upon the American public followed closely by the bailouts and the stimulus. My opinion I do not print till I first do the math. The math does not add up to what BOTH sides have been saying. There is skullduggery afoot by BOTH sides of congress. |

1001 participants. (assumption is a 4.2 percent margin of error)
300 MILLION americans. Assumption itself of the margin of error is WAY off. Have you ever attempted to conduct a poll. Here is the majority response... 'What the F*** are you calling me for... Leave me the F*** out of your D*** Politics Motherf******... Don't ever call my F*** number again." How can you determin any actual results from this... Pollsters hardly ever state how many nasty hangups they get. edit* let me add that I find it outrageous that politicians actually govern from these polls... Independants are the majority... They don't like the polls and hardly ever actually participate. Polls therefore have a margin of error that should range between 56% and 70% depending upon what part of the country your range the poll in. I have conducted polls... Independants are quite hard to get a yes/no/maybe/doubtfull response from... They have a vast range of opinions that do not fit mutiple choice answer sheets. |
