Today my teacher sent me an email at noon (according to the header time stamp), but I didn't get it till about 8 hours later. I use yahoo and she uses the school's email system. What do you suppose happened? It's never happened before. Thanks, computer nerds!

Delays in email can happen for many reasons...usually server related...nothing you can really do about it.

What do you suppose happened? It's never happened before. Thanks, computer nerds! It can take up to 24 hours some times for e mail to reach its destination, sometimes even longer. Like Fear said, it's usually server related and all you can do is wait it out, mot of the time. |

time could also be set wrong on pc My vote is that the time stamp is wrong. Its possible but unlikely that an eight hour delay was caused by server issues that day. |
