Been quiet Jerry, last I checked (@8.30am) we had only had 10 earthquakes in the preceding 24 hours. All is calm
thank God for that..only 10 quakes that is laugh

Yeppers, the only eye opener was at 2am, or thereabouts. "Twas only a 4.4, so hardly worth bothering with. Didn't take long to get back to sleeplaugh

I reckon most in Canterbury would say that the 'quakes are getting old now & could easily be scrapped. Sadly, Mother Nature, the old tart doesn't see it that way!bigsmile

Polite people call it Winter, most have more descriptive terms for it! Generally, Autumn (or "Fall" in the US) starts around the end of February. Winter goes from about May. September isusually marked down as the begining of Spring. Summer in December, hence Xmas dinner is often a BBQ, at times on the beachhappy Your allowed to keep your white Xmas!bigsmile

I remember a white Xmas! It was in 1969 & I had been married for 3 months. It was a hell of a shock to the system!shocked Irefer to the white xmas as the shock! The marriage was pre-meditated
