Been quiet Jerry, last I checked (@8.30am) we had only had 10 earthquakes in the preceding 24 hours. All is calm

Yeppers, the only eye opener was at 2am, or thereabouts. "Twas only a 4.4, so hardly worth bothering with. Didn't take long to get back to sleep

Polite people call it Winter, most have more descriptive terms for it! Generally, Autumn (or "Fall" in the US) starts around the end of February. Winter goes from about May. September isusually marked down as the begining of Spring. Summer in December, hence Xmas dinner is often a BBQ, at times on the beach

But I don't want my white Christmas I would rather have the BBQ I remember a white Xmas! It was in 1969 & I had been married for 3 months. It was a hell of a shock to the system!  Irefer to the white xmas as the shock! The marriage was pre-meditated
