Things that make me feel old never realizing all the stuff I did before 25 would hurt so much after 50 Talking with a friend about three gun shoots and realizing I'd been shooting a AR platform longer than he'd been alive. (since I was 18 in the military with a M16A1) . . . he's 30 Things that make me feel young Someone smiling at me, sitting out gandering up at the stars with friends, campfires, hiking on the Appalachian Trail (only 10 minutes away) just being with friends  there! You're younger already! LOL  When I would rather stay home then go to my work party because it's to cold out. Heck, I'd stay home just because it was a work party . . . |

what makes me feel old is having a daughter 31 years old and what makes me feel young is having 2 more that are 14 and 15...im 58

Having "grown kids" and "growing grandkids" doesn't really make me feel "old." I guess I just don't get into "numbers" all that much...Same goes for my age. I turned 62 a few months back but it's no big deal to me...It's just a number. I have friends of all ages and I don't care about age when it comes to getting to know people. My "grown kids" are my friends today and very interesting people in their own right...My grandkids are interesting people in their own right too...I don't play our "roles" very much. And I don't label myself a "senior citizen" because this seems like a "role" to have to play too...I'm just "me" whatever age I happen to me at the time! No biggie!
