Their pains and delights we require.
Yet, it is easy to playfully deceive.
To wear the mask of insufficient desire and fire.
Burn me with your brand as I miss out on your land.
And when they speak of me, speak goodly for I meant not to leave a hole in your sand.
Though indecency requires that I speak not of what I feel,
It becomes much easier to just go ahead and conceal.
But eventually I shall rise against my own self-imposed chains, and may God grant you the difference to know I wasn't insane.
