I have a girlfriend that now lives in Texas (from Ca.). We started as penpals in 7th grade, we wrote many letters...Now we just phone but we have been penpals for 56 yrs...She has visited me several times and I have been there a few times..You might try the library or school. Sometimes they have lists of people that want penpals. Mine started thru a school project..

My experience with cons is they wind up wanting something from ya'.
And, it's usually stamps and something illegal.
That's one reason they call 'em cons.smokin
