No one is perfect. And, a lot of men show love by taking care of you...not by being outwardly romantic. It's actually a more sincere expression of love, in my opinion.

I'd have to disagree somewhat. I think some men take care of women because they think that's what they should do. And they think it makes them more manly to be able to take care of women.

Then again, he could just be more old fashioned I guess. I don't really look for the kind of man who has to take care of me, though.

Here is an example of what I mean.

You're sick in bed with the flu. Your man:

A. Leaves you a note saying "I love you" as he leaves for work.

B. Puts in a load of laundry and sets the cold medicine by the bed for you as he leaves for work.

The OP wants A and B. I think A and B are expressions of love. But, B takes quite a bit more effort.

I got to go to work and your azz is in bed. You would be lucky if I threw you a pop tart..........smokin

Why does it have to be when you're sick? Little things like that are nice, however being sick shouldn't be the reason behind them.

A real man.............by me
A real man will say I love u,
In front of all his friends,
They may give him ****, but he is true,
So he smiles and laughs instead.
He knows that loves not just a word,
He says just what he means,
Doesn't care what all his friends just heard,
& doesn't fall apart at the seams.
A real man asks "how was your day"?
& listens with all his heart,
He's interested in what u have to say,
Right from the very start.
A real man thinks of his lady first,
Asks "do u need anything,"?
Brings her water to quench her thirst,
Without expecting a single thing.
To her he gives all of himself,
In a very unselfish way,
never puts her feelings on a shelf,
& shows his undying love each day.

I think that when you find "the perfect" person, you're idea of the perfect person changes to fit them. Love notes might turn into cards for no occasion, cleaning up might be leaving socks but doing the vacuuming, and cooking may be using the grill all summer while you stay warm at the stove all winter. I'm not sure you know perfect til you find it.
