should it involve "Like"? If not, it won't work. Otherwise, just a mechanical action/reaction. Women are right about this one. OH, OH, I've said it again. The word "right" and "woman" in the same context.

Before you can have or even find love, you have to like a person first. The more you like someone the more you guys will hang out and do things...

Like can very easily turn into love if given the right circumstances..But it takes patience, trust admiration for each other. It can turn into love and last a very long time if it's strong enough.

But it starts with like of another person and that like has to be returned.

So yes, you have to have like before you can love.

I use to be so sure about what love is and what it could bring. It was easy to live with a man I liked and who I was friends with, for many years. I left him looking for love. I found love, hot and passionate and amaZing. Yet, that relationship only lasted a few years. I was sure that lightning could never strike twice but it did. This time so vehemently that it made the first love seem like a crush...it lasted one year. I am not a kid so do not tell me the difference between lust and like and love. I know love.
Love is hell. Friendship is forever.

You are a hard one to read Mr. Bumble....

Some of your posts are elequent and consice and seem level headed and respectfully down to earth.

Other posts of yours guarantee that no woman around here will ever have anything to do with you.

Not sure of your agenda...(not my business or concern actually)

Half the time I spend sitting here thinking you got a point....
the rest of the time I laugh as the women sharpen thier knives with a blood lust (which means they will kick you off site....and they will)

Just do me a favor and clear this one up for me....are you a nice fellow who doesnt really have a concept of humor? (my bet)...or a mysogonistic douche (the womens theory)

Not of pressing importance to me, I am simply curious.

Thanks

yeah, friendship is so much easier! I have had amazing, hot, passionate love and my hubby was by bff! Lack of communication led to certain assumptions added to some really hard life experiences came in between us and I spent 4 years with someone I really didn't even like much :( So IMO (I am a woman & we are right here, right?-lol) like is a prerequisite for love!

Luckily, fate (or whatever you believe) is offering a us a second shot! We were young and wild and took each other for granted. Now that we are both more mature it should be better. Our friendship healed the misguided love between us (well, me actually speaking to him helped too)!

Love is crazy, like is a key ingredient in having a mad, passionate, amazing love!

That's exactly what my BF asked me once. I never really thought about it til then. Guess that's why I've had so many failed relationships thinking I was in love with them & that it went deeper than like. Boy, was I wrong!!

Love must involve 'like' or what is the point?
